1. What type of computer do I need to run Moorditj?

2. What version of QuickTime do I need?

Moorditj (Version 2.5) requires QuickTime 7.0 or later to run. The software may be installed from the CD-ROM.

3. Can Moorditj be used on a network?

Providing your school has both the technical capacity and purchased a site licence (see the details under Order Moorditj) it is possible to install it on a network server, intranet, or on individual school laptops and computers. When installing Moorditj on a server, ensure that the server directory containing Moorditj has READ-ONLY permission set, otherwise you may find that only one user at a time can open Moorditj.

4. Why do some of the fonts appear to display incorrectly?

This is a problem with running Moorditj 2.4 under Windows as a restricted user. To display the fonts correctly, you will need to log on to your computer as a standard user or an administrator. This issue has been fixed in Moorditj 2.5.

5. The disk keeps spinning and Moorditj won't start (Windows computers)

This may occur with Windows XP if you have a very old copy of QuickTime installed on your computer. Try installing a newer version. You may have to download QuickTime from http://www.apple.com/quicktime if you can't get at the copy on the CDROM itself.

6. The disk keeps spinning and Moorditj won't start (Macintosh computers)

We've had problems with some CD-ROM pressings on some G5 iMacs. Try another computer to check that the CD-ROM is working, then contact us if you need a replacement disk.

7. Does Moorditj work with Windows Vista?

As far as we can tell, Moorditj works fine with Vista, but it has not been tested on all versions of this operating system. Let us know at duit@cyllene.uwa.edu.au if you have any problems.
