Moorditj in SchoolsDare to LeadDare To Lead (DTL) is a national program, managed by the Australian Principals Associations Professional Development Council, that helps schools raise the outcomes for Indigenous education and introduce an Indigenous perspective into their curricula. All Dare to Lead schools receive a complimentary copy of Moorditj, and those that purchase a Moorditj site licence can download free curriculum resources. Free Curriculum ResourcesA wide range of units of work are available to download free of charge to Dare to Lead schools with a Moorditj site licence. They are also now available on the new Resources Kit CD-ROM or in print format. Teachers can use the rich diversity of content in Moorditj to introduce an Indigenous context into their classrooms. All curriculum areas are covered, including Indigenous Studies, the Arts, Society & the Environment, English, Science, Technology and Enterprise, Mathematics, LOTE, and Health and Physical Education. Site LicensingSchools require a site licence to use multiple copies of Moorditj. By purchasing a site licence, Dare to Lead schools can install Moorditj on their network, desktop computers and individual laptops, access the 30 units of work as well as purchase other supporting teaching resources.
